Spotlight on Successful Implementation

Who?	Andrea Ogonosky, Ph.D., LSSP, NCSP
What?	This session, presented by Andrea Ogonosky, author of Response to Intervention Handbook and Response to Intervention Handbook: Building Foundations for Grades 6-12, will focus on developing an understanding of the RtI process in both elementary and secondary schools. The discussion will center on defining the three tiers and building sound practices for literacy and content area instruction for struggling learners. Participants will be given examples for the development of evaluation and intervention strategies, as well as templates for implementation of the behavior aspects of RtI. Positive behavioral supports, emphasizing dropout prevention and crisis intervention, will be included.
